And this is what Poland is

Fr. Czartoryski O.P.

msza_15_sierpniaBlessed Fr. Michał Czartoryski O.P. celebrating a Holy Mass during the Warsaw Uprising on the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary on August 15, 1944. It took place in the gate of the, so-called, Ubezpieczalnia (Insurance Centre) in Smulikowskiego street. Fr. Czartoryski was executed by Germans on 6 September, staying with the wounded to the very end. He was faithful to his words to his death: “no demand will be inequitable, no request of even the greatest sacrifice and dedication will be unreasonable or unlawful or I shall not excuse or justify myself. The only measure is the love of God.”
