Card. Rolin

Jean Hey, known as the Master of Moulins, portrayed portrayed his patron, Cardinal Jean Rolin, the bishop of Autunand a cardinal, in a scene of Nativity. The prelate is shown kneeling beside the Holy Family, dressed in a winter cappa magna with a slit at the front, which allowed the hands to be drawn out when the cappa was worn open at the front.
