St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Hanoi

Neo-Gothic cathedral in Hanoi dedicated to St. Joseph, patron of Vietnam and Indochina. It was located in the French-speaking part of the city, so it was modeled after the famous Paris cathedral Notre Dame. Its construction was completed in 1886, and it was built on the site of a Buddhist pagoda destroyed in the 16th century.
