The old way

Father Pius (Padre Pio) from Pietrelcina O.F.M.Cap. carrying in a veil a chalice with the Lord’s Body, covered with a white chalice veil tied with a ribbon, during a procession to the Altar of the Repose at the end of the Holy Thursday liturgy. It was celebrated in accordance with the order from before the reforms of Pius XII conducted in the first half of the 1950s.
