San Giovanni Rotondo

The chant of the Gospel during a solemn High Mass on Resurrection Sunday at the Church of Our Lady of Grace in San Giovanni Rotondo celebrated by Fr Pius O.F.M.Cap. As one can see in the picture, the Evangeliary is placed on a lectern covered with a white cloth, and the subdeacon only holds it on the other side. The figure of Christ dominates over the altar decorated with candles and flowers. The statue is set on the tabernacle covered with a white veil. A Paschal candle is visible on the side of the Gospel.
