Cathedra Petri

The Altar of the Chair of St. Peter located in the western apse of the Vatican Basilica. The bronze reliquary containing a wooden throne which, according to a tradition, belonged to St. Peter is supported by four figures of the Fathers of the Church: the two Western ones in miters (St. Ambrose and St. Augustine) and two Eastern ones (St. Athanasius and St. John Chrysostom).
