Child Jesus

According to local tradition, such a procession took place after the Holy Mass, when the figurine of the Newborn was carried from the monastery to the church, where the faithful adored it by kissing it, and then placed it in the nativity scene. The saint Capuchin of Pietrelcina was known for his special fondness for the Feast of the Nativity of Christ and related traditions, such as the aforementioned nativity scene or Christmas carols.
