Abp. Roncalli

Archbishop Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli as an Apostolic delegate for Greece and Turkey on the occasion of the episcopal consecration of bishop Joseph Descuffi C.M. (second from the right). Co-consecrators were archbishop Paul Kiredjian (Ormian Rite) and bishop Denis Varouhas (Greek Catholic Rite). Abp. Roncalli during his service cared about grandeur and majesty of liturgical celebrations, which made a good impression on the representatives of hierarchies of the East Catholic Churches.
