Pontifical blessing in the Ambrosian Rite

Card. Schuster, surrounded with assisstants, turned to the cross held by a cross-bearer wearing a cape, is giving solemn blessing at the end of a Pontifical Mass in the Ambrosian Rite. In the stalls on the left are canons parati in the rank of deacon – this is why they are wearing dalmatics.
