College of St. Joseph

Members of the children’s choir of the College of St. Joseph at the cathedral of Cuenca, Spain. The choir was created in 17th century. Its seat was a small palace of the Mazo family, closely connected with the Spanish throne. The College had a well-educated staff and necessary equipment. Nevertheless, it began to wane in 19th century and ceased to exist in 1960.
