Relics of the Passion

Relics of the Passion kept in the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem in Rome. In the top row: a fragment of the True Cross and the Titulus, the tablet which Pilate ordered to put above Jesus’ head. In the bottom row from the left: the reliquary containing one of the nails which Christ was nailed to the cross with, two thorns of the crown braided by soldiers ridiculing Jesus and a fragment of a rock from the Holy Sepulchre.
