Canons of Santiago de Compostela

The canons of the Santiago de Compostela cathedral during solemn Vespers on the occasion of 800th anniversary of the consecration of the church. During major feasts six or eight cantors (visible in the photo with ferulas in hands) sung Officium Divinum during minor ones – four or two. On the left there is a biretta with a green tassel to which the members of the chapter are entitled to.
